Lash, of King George, was not wearing a seatbelt when his 2016 Dodge Journey ran off the left side of Kings Highway east around 2:20 a.m., Virginia State Police said. Lash's vehicle struck an embankment before it overturned and collided with several trees. Lash was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. 'Wild Go-Getter:' 25-Year-Old Killed In Fauquier County Crash Virginia State Police have identified the victim of a Fauquier County crash this week as a 25-year-old man. Chandler P. Povlsen, of Bealeton, was was heading south on Balls Mill Road near Rockdale Lane in Midland, in a 1994 Ford Ranger, when he crossed over the double solid yellow centerline around 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, VSP said. The girl's parent flagged down the deputy on Friday, July 7 in the Sheetz parking lot on Wyche Road, around 4:45 p.m., Sheriff David Decatur said. The girl, red in the face, was trapped in her seatbelt and unable to get out. Deputy Pitts noticed the seatbelt was twisted around the child’s stomach. A Mazda 3 collided with a Buick Encore near the Chain Bridge Road exit in Fairfax, causing the Buick to burst into flames after the impact, Virginia State Police said.
