An officer with the Metropolitan Police Department has been arrested and charged with voyeurism after body-worn cameras captured him taking a photo of a woman wearing a bra and leggings while he and his colleagues were serving an arrest warrant, authorities said. A former member of the Metropolitan Police Department has been convicted of violating the rights of at least two men with illegal chokeholds, federal authorities announced on Tuesday. Mark Lamont Clark was found guilty on Tuesday, May 23, of two counts of depravation of civil rights under the color of law following a pair of separate incidents involving two men days apart in July 2018. Fairfax Police Hit Young Mother's Car, Handcuffed Her During Traffic Stop: Report
A Fairfax County young mother is demanding an apology from police, after they mistook her for a suspect in a high-speed chase, WTOP reported. Jamee Kimble posted on her Instagram page about a traumatic incident she experienced, when she was pulled over by police and a cruiser hit her car head-on, the website detailed. Kimble was handcuffed during the ordeal and said her car was mistaken for a suspect's car during a high-speed chase. More than a dozen police officers in Prince George’s County are facing charges for alleged misconduct in office and multiple theft charges, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 25.
