A 56-year-old Stafford was jailed for a shooting involving an innocent victim: His neighbor. The female victim, a resident of a home in North Stafford, said she was not sure what happened, but that she was bleeding profusely from her stomach around 12 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, the county sheriff's office said. Arriving officers noticed a bullet-sized hole in the wall that directly lined up to where the victim was standing in her kitchen when she was struck. 'Nightmare' High-Speed Pursuit Ends In Stafford Man's Arrest: Police
"Nightmare" is the word police in one Virginia county used to describe the incidents that unfolded Friday, Oct. 27, in a high-speed pursuit they say was led by a 27-year-old driver. Micah Kynard had been involved in a dispute with a family member around 7:05 p.m. on Standish Place in North Stafford, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said. The Stafford County Sheriff has apprehended a grown man and minor who carried out a home invasion that left their victim believing they were dying, according to authorities. Hakim Worrell, 37, has been identified as a suspect who was implicated in a violent assault shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30 that left a Spotsylvania man badly beaten after multiple suspects broke into a North Stafford home.
