Isai Jimenez Paz, of Arlington, was driving a Toyota GR86 at a high speed westbound on Leesburg Pike in Bailey's Crossroads around 7 p.m. on Feb. 16, Fairfax County police said. Driver Charged For Virginia Crash That Killed 19-Year-Old Motorcyclist: Police The driver responsible for causing a fatal crash that took the life of a beloved 19-year-old man riding his motorcycle in Fairfax County has been charged, according to police. Motorcyclist, 19, Killed In Fairfax County Crash A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Arlington was killed in a Fairfax County crash, police said. Alejandro Portillo was heading east on Leesburg Pike in the left through-lane when he collided with an Acura heading west, trying to turn onto Glen Carlyn Drive around 110:10 p.m., authorities said. Portillo was hospitalized where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Acura remained on scene and was uninjured.  Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have information in the crash: 703-280-0543.

Couple Killed In Fairfax Crash Involving Speed, Alcohol: Police A couple from Prince William County was killed in an early morning crash in Fairfax County on Friday, Oct. 7, police said. At around 4 a.m., 51-year-old Lori Byars, the driver of a Mercedes, and 59-year-old David Turch, the passenger, were heading east on Leesburg Pike, when their car veered off the road, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The car slammed into a light pole and then hit a traffic sign, before coming to a complete stop, officials reported.
