Day, of Sumerduck, was driving under the influence at the time of the Shipps Tore Road crash in Fauquier County on Saturday, March 2 at 10:25 p.m., Virginia State Police said. Day was in a 2018 Ford Explorer going west on Route 637 when she failed to maneuver a curve ran off the right side of the roadway and collided with a tree, police said.
