Missing VA Woman Found Alive In Wooded Area After 8-Day Search The manhunt for a missing 69-year-old woman had a happy ending this week after rescuers found her in the woods less than a mile from her home.  Aletha Gee Watson spent eight days in those woods and survived sweltering heat and extreme thunderstorms.
