A 25-year-old unlicensed Arlington driver was drunk when she struck two cars, flipped her own, fled the scene then bit an officer, police said. Malesha Bruner was heading east on Washington Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. Feb. 22 when she hit a parked, occupied car at 3rd Street N., county police said. Bruner fled westbound on Washington Boulevard when she struck another traveling vehicle, at which point her car overturned, police said. Two District women are facing charges in Arlington after stealing items from a store and taking police on a short-lived pursuit, officials say. Taniya Bradford, 22, and Jamira Hampton, 23, took members of the Arlington County Police Department for a ride over the weekend before ultimately being apprehended for robbery. Arrest Made In Stabbing Death Of Arlington's Shontae Crawford
Police have arrested a 35-year-old man in the stabbing death of a 37-year-old Arlington woman on Monday, June 19. Alimamy Fornah is believed to have stabbed Shontae Crawford in their shared apartment during an argument just before 5 a.m., on the 3400 block of Washington Boulevard, Arlington County police said.
