Crews from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department were called to South Lakes High School in the 11400 block of South Lakes Drive in Reston at around 9:15 a.m. on Jan. 3 to investigate a reported fire. Evacuation: High School In Fredericksburg Takes Precaution After Receiving Threats Students and faculty at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg were evacuated on Wednesday, September 14, after the school received threats, police said.Sometime before noon, police arrived at the school to investigate a possible threat, while those on campus took precaution and evacuated, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department. At around 1 p.m., police and a K-9 unit finished searching the school and reported they did not find any threat, officials said. Law enforcement remained at the school to ensure the safety of the individuals there, police reported.
