A Prince William County man has been convicted in connection with a horrifying incident in May 2023, authorities announced.
On Thursday, Jan. 4, Frederick Pierce has been found guilty on charges of animal cruelty and arson following an investigation by the Prince William County Police Department and the Prince William County Fire Marshall’s Office, Prince William County Commonwealth’s Attorney Amy Ashworth said.

Rapist Sodomized Juvenile Victim In Woodbridge Apartment: Police
A 25-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a juvenile inside of a Northern Virginia apartment, police said.
Oscar Sanchez Rivera, of Woodbridge, has been charged with rape, forcible sodomy, and object sexual penetration, following the incident just before 1 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, the Prince William County Police Department said.
The victim was inside of an apartment on Potomac Heights Place in Woodbridge, when Sanchez Rivera assaulted her, police said.
He was being held without bond.
