Girl Hits Woman During Fredericksburg Target Store Screaming Match In Front Of Deputy: Sheriff Two women and a girl arguing loudly brought a police response to a Target parking lot in Stafford, police said. The trio were screaming and causing a scene at the South Gateway Drive store in Fredericksburg, around 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, the county sheriff's office said. However, one of the women would not calm down and continued yelling and cursing, police said. The girl then hit that woman, the sheriff's office said. The girl was issued a criminal complaint for assault and battery while the woman who refused to stop making a scene was charged with disorderly conduct, police said. …

Man 'Euthanizing' Elderly Dog Arrested In Haymarket: Police A 70-year-old Virginia man has been arrested for shooting and killing his 16-year-old dog authorities said. John James Ogle was trying to "euthanize" his cocker spaniel-poodle mix in a wooded area near Verde Place and Piedmont Drive in Haymarket around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, Prince William County police said. Ogle fired one round followed by several other rounds until the dog was dead. authorities said.  No additional injuries or property damage were reported. Animal Control Officers were contacted to remove the dog from the area.  Ogle was charged with …
