Fairfax Station resident Sidney Brooks has been identified by investigators as the person who was killed after crashing his Chevy Trailblazer into a Tesla shortly after midnight on Thursday morning. Driver, 18, Dies Weeks After Fairfax County Crash An 18-year-old driver has died of injuries suffered in a Fairfax County crash on Jan. 2, authorities said. Jose Armando Sanchez Aguilar, of Reston, was heading south on Fairfax County Parkway when he lost control of his 2011 Honda Civic, left the roadway, and struck the sound barrier wall just after 5 a.m., county police said. Sanchez Aguilar was hospitalized with serious injuries and died on Jan. 17, county police said. Multi-Car Crash Closes Fairfax County Parkway Intersection A multi-vehicle crash shut a Fairfax County intersection Wednesday afternoon, June 21. The incident happened at Franklin Farm Road and the Fairfax County Parkway.  As of 1:05 p.m., the north left shoulder, left lane and right lane were closed. Police were at the scene directing traffic.
