Services have been set for 23-year-old Joshua Craig Jr., the motorcyclist killed in a crash on I-395 last week. Craig, of Dumfries, was heading north on I-395 at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck a 2012 Acura TL around 4:50 p.m. near milepost 7 in Arlington, Virginia State Police said. Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on I-395 in Arlington Thursday, April 18. Joshua A Craig, Jr., 23, of Dumfries, was heading north on I-395 at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck a 2012 Acura TL around 4:50 p.m. near milepost 7, Virginia State Police said. An 80-year-old man has been charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a young girl in the elevator of a Prince William County hotel, police say. Dennis James Schettino, of Calabash, North Carolina, was arrested and charged with aggravated sexual battery for an alleged incident that was reported early on Easter Sunday at the Hampton Inn on Old Stage Road in Dumfries. I-95 Crash Dumfries Triangle
A fatal crash closed I-95 in Prince William County early Monday, April 8. It happened near milepost 151.1 on the northbound side between Dumfries and Triangle around 3:30 a.m., when a GMC pickup truck and Kia SUV collided, police said. The GMC overturned as a result of the crash, and a passenger was ejected. The passenger died at the scene. As of 5:50 a.m., the north left shoulder, left lane, center lane, and right lane were closed. Traffic backups were approximately 4 miles. Virginia State Police were investigating.

A 25-year-old Fredericksburg man is being sought in a shooting in the parking lot of a Dumfries bar earlier this month, police said. Janbler Torres-Santos is believed to have shot a 29-year-old man during an argument in the parking lot of La Caverna Bar and Grill in Dumfries Shopping Plaza on March 7, Prince William County police said. Police are investigating a murder outside of a bar in northern Virginia, police said. A fight that broke out in front of Club Tempo on Possum Point Road in Dumfries turned deadly for 38-year-old Carvell Jarmain Williams, of Warrenton, around 2:10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, Prince William County police said.
