Crash Into Home, Medical Emergency Caused Fatal Incident In Fairfax County: Police A 69-year-old man who suffered a medical emergency before a fatal crash in Fairfax County succumbed from his injuries at an area hospital, authorities announced on Monday. Alexandria resident Ellsworth Jackson, Jr. has been identified by police as the person who died at the hospital more than a week after a single-vehicle crash into a Newington home last month. Driver Blaring Music Rams Officer With Vehicle In Arlington, Police Say A 23-year-old man was arrested for ramming an officer with his car in Arlington over the weekend, police said. Officers were called to the 800 block of N. Wakefield Street around 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, for a vehicle blasting music, where they found Taron Butler in a car matching the description, police said in a release. Driver Whose Dog Bit Deputy During Loudoun County Pursuit In Stolen Car Sentenced A Rochester, NY man whose dog bit a Loudoun County deputy after leading a reckless pursuit that landed four people in the hospital has been sentence to prison time. Justin Connor, of Rochester, NY, who was 27 at the time of the July 2023 incident, was sentenced on May 23, 2024 to seven years and three months in prison by Judge Matthew P. Snow, the county sheriff's office announced.
