Mariah Hope Goodman had gotten into an argument with a 19-year-old male family member on the 300 block of Potomac Avenue in Quantico just before 2 a.m., county police said.
"During the encounter, the accused brandished a firearm towards the victim, before retrieving a knife and cutting the victim," police said. "Minor injuries were reported."
Goodman was subsequently arrested and charged with attempted malicious wounding, brandishing a firearm, and domestic assault and battery. She was being held without bond.
