Toppled Tree Temporarily Ties Up Traffic On I-495 In Virginia Several lanes were closed on I-495 in Fairfax County on Thursday afternoon when a tree went down and blocked the roadway. The right two southbound lanes and shoulder of the interstate were blocked by crews at around 2:45 p.m. on Feb. 15 as first responders worked to clear the scene in Annandale.  Officials say it was reported near mile marker 52.
