A 33-year-old driver was killed in an overnight crash in Woodbridge, police said. Donnell Tyquan Epps was heading north at a high rate of speed on Redwing Drive in a 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when he lost control of the car and left the roadway around 2:30 a.m. near Shallow Court, county police said. One person died in a two-car crash Monday, April 1 on Interstate 81 in Frederick County, police said. A pedestrian was hospitalized in serious condition after being struck by a tractor trailer on Interstate 95 in Virginia Monday morning, April 1, police said. The victim was a driver who had been standing outside of their disabled vehicle around 8:45 a.m. on the southbound side, Virginia State Police said. According to the VDOT, the crash happened in Triangle. Backups were approximately 10 miles long. The striking vehicle remained on scene while the victim was taken to Mary Washington Hospital, and later flown to the VCU Medical Center in Richmond.

A 17-year-old boy was killed in a crash in Woodbridge early Sunday, March 10, authorities said.
