Bike-Riding Purse Snatcher Wanted After Armed Robbery On W&OD Trail In Loudoun County: Sheriff A new probe has been launched after the latest incident involving an armed robber on the Washington and Old Dominion Trail, police say. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigated the robbery, when a man pulled a gun on a woman walking the trail between Sterling Boulevard and Church Road in the early evening of Tuesday, April 2.  According to a spokesperson for the sherif's office, a Hispanic man brandished a weapon and demanded the woman's purse, to which she complied.
