Pilot Killed In Small Plane Crash ID'd As Alexandria Resident, 66 A 66-year-old pilot was killed in a small plane crash in Culpeper County on Friday, May 17, authorities confirmed. The private aircraft went down on the 13000 block of Spillman Road in Culpeper County just before 2:45 p.m., Virginia State Police said. The pilot was identified as Grover McCall Jr., of Alexandria. The FAA and NTSB were notified. The incident remains under investigation.

Hanover resident Ayomide Oyebode, 18, and Viktoria Theresie Izabelle Ljungman, 23, of Williamsburg, Virginia were involved in a crash at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 in Newport News during takeoff, police said.
