Police Confirm ID Of Man Pulled From River Near Virginia Park New details have been released by police in Alexandria after a 32-year-old man was pulled from a river near Four Mile Run Park last week. Keban Isaias Perez has been identified as the person found dead in the river in the 4100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue on Wednesday, April 24, authorities announced on Monday. Officers were called to the 4100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue near Four Mile Park around 1:30 p.m., the Alexandria Police Department said. Perez was pronounced dead at the scene. Body Found In Alexandria River A man's body was found in an Alexandria river on Wednesday, April 24, police said. Officers were called to the 4100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue near Four Mile Park around 1:30 p.m., the Alexandria Police Department said. The adult male was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy is expected to determine the cause and manner of death. Earlier in the week, Alexandria police announced a suspicious death investigation on North Henry Street. They said only that an injured man was found at the scene and later pronounced dead.
