Teen's Sexual Abuser Beaten By Family Member With Metal Tool, Both Arrested In VA, Cops Say A 57-year-old man has been charged with assault for beating a 53-year-old man who sexually assaulted his family member last week, police in Prince William County said. Police were called to Paisano's Pizza on Dillingham Square in Woodbridge around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 on reports of an assault, county police said. The investigation revealed that an employee, identified as Ghulam Haidar Maher, inappropriately touched his 19- year-old female co-worker earlier that day, police said. Teen Student Sexually Assaulted In Virginia High School Restroom: Police An 18-year-old Virginia man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a girl in a high school restroom, police said. The victim, who is under the age of 18, was in a restroom at Gar-Field Senior High School on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge when Lamine Mellouk came inside and sexually assaulted her on Oct. 18, Prince William County police said. The girl reported the incident to a family member who contacted police. Mellouk was arrested on Monday, Nov. 27 and charged with misdemeanor sexual battery. He was released on a court summons.

Leesburg Substitute Teacher Dealt Assault Charges For Throwing Student Out Of Class: Police A substitute teacher allegedly failed to behave in a Leesburg classroom, police said. On Sept. 16, Hans Mirzaei, a 68-year-old substitute teacher at Tuscarora High School, forcefully kicked a student out of class, according to the Leesburg Police Department.  After law enforcement investigated the incident, Mirzaei was charged with  one misdemeanor count of assault and battery, authorities reported. He was issued a summons on Oct. 2 and later released, officials said.  Police said the victim was not harmed during the incident.
