Off-Duty Officer Accused Of Shooting Fellow Policeman In Virginia, Authorities Say A police officer in Virginia is behind bars after he allegedly shot a fellow officer while both were off-duty, according to authorities. Last week, on Wednesday, Jan. 25, officials say that two off-duty James City County Police officers were involved in a shooting in the City of Williamsburg that left one with multiple gunshot wounds. The wounds were described by police as “serious but non-life-threatening.” Michael Trenton Rusk, 24, was identified as one of the shooters, while his 38-year-old victim has not been identified.
