Pedestrian Hospitalized In Leesburg With Serious Injuries After Being Struck By Driver A pedestrian was hospitalized overnight after being struck by a driver while he attempted to cross a busy Virginia intersection in Leesburg. Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, members of the Leesburg Police Department Traffic Management Unit were called to a stretch of Edwards Ferry Road NE near Heritage Way NE when a man was struck by a vehicle.
