Motorcyclist, 23, Killed In I-395 Crash Was Former Football Player
Services have been set for 23-year-old Joshua Craig Jr., the motorcyclist killed in a crash on I-395 last week. Craig, of Dumfries, was heading north on I-395 at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck a 2012 Acura TL around 4:50 p.m. near milepost 7 in Arlington, Virginia State Police said. At the scene. VDOT Craig's Honda CBR600RR went off the road to the right and struck a guard rail. Craig, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Arlington Cemetery Bomb Threat Halts Funeral Services
A bomb threat halted funeral services at the Arlington National Cemetery for hours on Friday, Sept. 8. The cemetery was evacuated as teams from multiple law enforcement agencies investigated around 9 a.m. Up to 30 funerals a day are held on weekdays at the cemetery, where hearses lined up awaiting the all-clear. Fredericksburg Teen, 18, Dies A Month After Graduating From High School
An 18-year-old Spotsylvania County man died last week a month after he graduated from high school. Mason Allen Hancock died on Thursday, June 23, according to his obituary. He is survived by his mom Lisa Milam and stepdad Mike, dad Rudy Hancock, brother Chase Milam, and an extended family. They did not disclose his cause of death. Hancock graduated from Riverbend High School in May and worked at the Fredericksburg Nationals Baseball Stadium, according to his obituary.
