Fairfax Teen Fatally Struck By Car Had Dreams Of Becoming Nurse, Loved Ones Say Support was surging for the family of a 17-year-old Fairfax High School student struck and killed by a car this week. Lesly Diaz-Bonilla's dreams of being a nurse were cut short Wednesday, Nov. 16 when she was struck while crossing Columbia Pike from Barcroft View Terrace in Bailey's Crossroads just before 9 a.m., according to a GoFundMe launched for her family, and authorities.
