Two Alexandria Schools Swatted (Details) Two bogus threats brought a SWAT response to two Alexandria schools on Wednesday, Jan. 24, officials said. The first call came in around 12:05 p.m., targeting the Charles Barrett Elementary School, at 1115 Martha Cutis Dr., a spokesperson for the sheriff's office said. The caller said someone would be at the school with guns, officials said. Virginia Elementary School Evacuated Due To Threat Targeting Building (Developing) A Virginia elementary school was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon after a threat was made against the building. An alert was issued by the Alexandria Police Department at round 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, after a threat targeting Charles Barrett Elementary School on Martha Custis Drive was reported. Officers were called to the building and there is expected to be a heavy police presence at and around the school throughout the day.
