Manassas native Brittney Fitzgerald died on Wednesday, July 19, according to her obituary. She was 29 years old.
Brittney was being remembered for her love of animals, having volunteered at a local animal rescue organization for years, her obituary says.

The Hope and Serenity Farm Sanctuary in Prince William County is 11 acres of safe space for animals.
Founded in 2017, the farm sanctuary is fully funded by donations, memberships, and animal sponsorships, according to a GoFundMe page started for the organization.

Regal Beagle: Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Add Envigo Pup To Their Family
One beagle that was saved from Envigo, a former, unethical breeding facility in Virgina, was recently adopted by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to WUSA9.
Their new pup, Mia, is just one of the 4,000 beagles that were freed from Envigo and taken across the country to adoption shelters.
