Rebekah "Bekah" Zarco had a bright future ahead, her dad, William Zarco, wrote on a GoFundMe campaign.

The 17-year-old had just graduated from Robinson Secondary School and was set to start as a freshman engineering student at George Mason University in the fall.

Bekah's plans were stolen from her on Tuesday night, July 18, in a car crash, William said. Her brother, David, a talented soccer player, remains in the ICU recovering along with his two friends, William Zarco added.

"David shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, and her passing is undoubtedly a devastating blow to him and also their older brother William, who is also heartbroken by what happened to his siblings," William writes. "Her radiant smile will be deeply missed."

According to police, the two-car crash happened on the 5700 block of Burke Center Pkwy in Burke around 9 p.m. The teens were slammed by another vehicle and their car went up in flames, police said.

Another GoFundMe campaign was launched raising donations for the three other teens who were injured in the crash.

"Our deep condolences and sympathy to the Zarco family and those effected[sic] by this tragedy," a commenter writes. "You are in our prayers."

William Zarco noted his daughter's "unmatched" passion for music, particularly the piano.

"Her performances brought warmth and joy to all who had the pleasure of listening," he said. "Bekah, as she was affectionately known, was not only a gifted musician and aspiring engineer but also a beloved daughter, friend, sister, wonderful human being, and devoted follower of Jesus Christ."
