A police vehicle in DC was among the latest to be stolen as car thefts in the District continue to peak. An alert was issued by the Metropolitan Police Department on Friday as they attempt to locate a man who managed to steal a University of the District of Columbia (UDC) police vehicle from campus, authorities say. The FBI announced that one minor is “believed to be responsible for the “majority of the threats" that have been targeting Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the country and throughout the region.
