Arsonist Lit T-Shirt On Fire, Shoved It Through VA Neighbor's Mail Slot: Police A Fredericksburg woman has found herself behind bars after lighting a t-shirt on fire and shoving it through her neighbor's front door mail slot, police said. The homeowner on the 1200 block of Caroline Street smelled smoke and found the fiery t-shirt around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, Fredericksburg police said. The resident put out the fire and called the E-911 Communications Center to report the arson. Slow Down: Fredericksburg To Lower Speed Limits Next Month Fredericksburg will lower its speed limits on several downtown streets from 25 miles an hour to 20 mph starting next month.  City leaders said the move is part of their plan to increase foot traffic and bicyclists in the business district, according to Patch.
