A 34-year-old Virginia man is facing charges in Pennsylvania for chatting with juveniles online and soliciting explicit images from them, authorities said. The tips regarding Jesse Abercrombie, of Stafford, came in to the Stafford County Sheriff's Computer Crime Unit in October 2023, Sheriff David Decatur said. Trooper Hit By Drunk Virginia Driver Hospitalized, PA State Police Say
A 47-year-old Virginia man has been charged after injuring himself and a trooper while driving under the influence, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Jad Michael McGuinness of Lawrenceville, VA was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 when he rear-ended a marked PA State Police 2022 Dodge Charger at a red light at Route 30/York Road at its intersection with Smith Road at 8:38 p.m. on Feb. 25, Investigating trooper Michael Kishbach detailed in the release. VA Man Found Dead In Tractor Trailer Along I-78 In PA
A 67-year-old Virginia man was found dead inside of his tractor trailer in Pennsylvania Friday, March 1, the county coroner said. Larry H. Harris Jr.'s trailer was found parked and secured near the Exit 45 off ramp on the westbound side of I-78, in Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County around 11 a.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. An autopsy will be performed on Monday, March 4, 2024 to determine the cause of death, which was not considered suspicious, Buglio said. The Pennsylvania State Police, Fogelsville station is also investigating.

Stafford Man Admits Traveling To PA For Sex With Child: DA
A Virginia man who pleaded guilty in connection to traveling to Pennsylvania to have sex with a child has been sentenced, the Lancaster County District Attorney's office announced on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Tanner Iskra, 38 of the 2100 block of Harpoon Drive, Stafford, VA, pleaded guilty in Sept. 2023 to attempted statutory sexual assault (11 years older), attempted corruption of minors, and criminal use of a communication facility, DA Heather Adams detailed in the release. The search for an escaped Washington DC murder suspect remains active a day after Danelo Cavalcante's capture. Christopher Haynes, a Manassas, VA native charged in the Aug. 12 murder of Brent Hayward, escaped from the George Washington University Hospital on Wednesday, Sept. 6. Virginia Man, 22, Dies In Pennsylvania Tractor-Trailer Crash
A 22-year-old Virginia man was killed in a tractor-trailer crash on a Pennsylvania highway over the weekend, authorities said. Evan Dennison, of Berryville, was driving a vehicle that struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township, on Sunday, July 23, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. Dennison was pronounced dead at the scene, at 2:53 p.m. All westbound lanes were closed for several hours. Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.
