One person was killed on Saturday morning after being struck by a train, Metro Transit Police announced. At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, members from the department were called to the Pentagon City Metro Station in Arlington, where a man was struck by a train in a tunnel, officials said. A Metro Transit Police officer had to use force to break up a violent fight that broke out on a bus in Washington, DC that spilled out into the street when a suspect brandished a knife, Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee III said.
