DC Police Officer Killed In Motorcycle Crash On I-95 In Virginia Another veteran officer from the Metropolitan Police Department has been killed in a motorcycle crash.  The agency announced that Second District Officer Nelson Casillas, an eight-year veteran of the department, was involved in a serious crash in Virginia and died from his injuries on Wednesday, June 7. The 31-year-old was heading north on a 2007 Honda CBR1000 RR motorcycle at a high rate of speed, when he cut through the gore area of the exit ramp and struck an impact attenuator around 1 p.m. near Exit 156 for Dale City, Virginia State Police said.
