Good Samaritan Takes Keys From DUI Mom Who Crashed Car Into Ditch With Child In Stafford: Cops A 36-year-old Stafford mom was drunk when she crashed her car into a ditch with her child improperly secured, police said. Danielle Penberthy tried leaving the scene at Clore Drive around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, after having called a tow truck, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. A 9-1-1 caller was one step ahead, though. When Deputy Crossett arrived, Penberthy's vehicle was no longer in the ditch, and the 9-1-1 caller was holding the drunken mom's car keys, authorities said.
