Alleged Rapist Busted After Targeting Minor Repeatedly In Virginia, Police Say
A rape investigation has been launched in Prince William County after a man allegedly preyed on a minor, possibly for years, police say. Over the weekend, Gainesville resident Christopher David Daugherty, 46, was arrested for an alleged sexual assault that was recently reported by his underage victim. Police say that the abuse happened in Prince William County between August 2017 and last month on more than one occasion while the minor was under the age of 18.
