Crash Involving Trailer Shuts Down Bristol Road In Warrington A trailer disengaged from the truck that towing it, causing a crash on Bristol Road on Sunday, June 30.  Warrington police said Bristol Road was shut down from  Lower State Road to Timber Lane around 12:30 p.m. The road was reopened for through traffic by 2:30 p.m.  "Thankfully (and remarkably) there were no serious injuries," police said.

28-Year-Old Woman Shot In Face In Northeast Philadelphia: Police A gunshot victim was rushed to the hospital early Sunday, June 30, according to Philadelphia police.  Authorities said the 28-year-old woman was struck in the face on the 4700 block of Longshore Avenue in Tacony around 12:45 a.m. A private vehicle took her to Nazareth Hospital before she was transferred to Temple University Hospital, PPD said.  The motive remains unknown and no arrest has been made, officials said Sunday. Detectives continue to investigate.

Woman Shot, Killed In Philadelphia Home: Police A 59-year-old woman was killed in a residence in Kensington on Friday afternoon, June 28, said Philadelphia police.  The victim was shot on the 3400 block of Crystal Street around 1 p.m. and taken to St. Christopher's Hospital where she died, according to authorities.  No arrests have been made and no weapon was recovered as of Friday evening, PPD said.
