Officers were called to Tarleton Park at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday night in the area of South Gordon Street and Wheeler Avenue, when a man attempted to take a woman. According to the Alexandria Police Department, the suspect, described as a White man with brown hair, wearing a blue sweatshirt and camouflage shorts, attempted to pull the woman into a wooded area, though she was able to escape. Firefighter Injured Battling 3-Alarm Warehouse Blaze In Alexandria (Developing) Crews worked overnight following a massive three-alarm fire that broke out inside a warehouse in Alexandria.  At around 9 p.m. on Tuesday night, crews were called to a commercial building in the 4400 block of Wheeler Avenue, when flames tore through the building, leading to a long night for firefighters in the city.
