Nicholas Thompson, 33, of Ashburn, was killed after attempting to evade a traffic stop while speeding away from troopers before he ultimately lost control and violently crashed. Motorcyclist Who Died In Fairfax County Crash Was On Stolen Bike, Police Say Police have identified the 22-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash involving a stolen bike Thursday, Aug. 31 in Fairfax County. Merle Webster Beach, of Springfield, was riding a stolen 2004 Suzuki on Henderson Road near thistledown Trail at a high rate of speed when he crested a small hill and lost control around 1:20 p.m. in Fairfax Station, police said. Beach was ejected from the bike and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Spotsy Motorcyclist, 41, Killed In Head-On Crash A 41-year-old Spotsylvania motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday, Aug. 30, authorities said. Kendall Wade Neas was operating a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle on the 4200 block of Massaponax Church Road when he crossed the double yellow line coming out of a curve at a high rate of speed around 6:30 p.m., Major Troy Skebo of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office said. Neas struck a 2019 Subaru head-on, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Subaru's 27-year-old driver was treated at the scene and released.
