Viral Video Of Fairfax Officers Pointing Guns At Man At IHOP Draws Criticism
A video that shows two Fairfax County police officers pointing their weapons at a man as he tries to film them during an investigation has gone viral on social media. Many online say it's proof of police overreach, but the department says the video doesn't tell the entire story. Officers were called to IHOP at 6655 Arlington Boulevard in Falls Church around 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, after three teenagers got into an argument with an employee. Unruly Stafford Customer Throws Water On IHOP Waitress
Officers responded to a report of an early morning assault at an IHOP over the weekend in Stafford County, authorities said. Deputies responded to the IHOP on 320 Worth Avenue in Stafford around 12:40 p.m. after a customer in a group of unruly individuals threw water at a waitress, the Stafford County Sheriff's Department said.
