The recovery of DNA evidence has linked a Loudoun County man to unsolved sex offenses dating back to the 1990s in Fairfax County, police announced. Edward Eugene Pottmyer, 58, of Chantilly, was arrested on charges of forcible sodomy and intent to defile on June 5, Fairfax County police said. Erick Vladamir Chacon Martinez, 23, had arranged to meet the victim at the Quarry Inn Motel at 7179 Lee Highway on Sept. 16, county police said. A 62-year-old man was arrested for sodomizing a 32-year-old family member in Virginia, police said.
