Bank Worker Tackles Gun From Robber In Alexandria: Police Police in Fairfax County arrested a man who they say robbed an Alexandria bank at gunpoint. Norman Williams, 42, of Fort Washington Maryland, went into the to the Truist Bank at 5922 Richmond Highway in Huntington just after 1 p.m. on May 25, flashed a handgun and demanded money, Fairfax County police said. A bank employee tackled Williams, who dropped the gun and ran from the bank. Williams' gun was recovered at the scene and there were no injuries to the victims, police said. Landry Joseph Johnson, 30, of Dumfries, got into a fight inside of Babylon Cafe on Golansky Boulevard in Woodbridge around 12:20 a.m. on March 24, Prince William County police said. The fight spilled out to the parking lot where Johnson got a gun and fired multiple rounds, one of them going through the front window of the business and becoming lodged inside the bar area, police said.
