A 63-year-old man was killed overnight by a hit-and-run driver in Fairfax County who was speeding in a stolen vehicle, police say. Shortly after 12:15 a.m. on Sunday morning, officers were searching in Hybla Valley for a vehicle that had been reported stolen on Saturday night from the 7900 block of Sausalito Place. Driver Dies In Route 250 Bypass Crash In Alberbarle County: Police
A driver died in an Albermarle County crash on the Route 250 Bypass Thursday, Aug. 10, police said. The crash happened around 8:15 a.m., on the westbound side of the Route 250 Bypass near the exit ramp for Route 601, police said. The driver was declared dead at the scene. One Dead In Fiery Crash On I-495
One person died in a fiery crash overnight on Interstate 495 in Fairfax County. The vehicle was heading west toward I-395 northbound when it ran off the highway near Exit 170B, went over the side cement barrier and landed on railroad tracks below in Springfield around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, Virginia State Police said.
