This VA Eatery Serves Up Best Burgers In The State, Website Says

A great burger doesn't have to be fancy. Throw a juicy patty between two buns, add the fix-ins in between and boom, you have yourself a burger. But if you're looking the best one in Virginia, a new list has got you covered.

“Eat This, Not That” compiled its guide by including top-rated restaurants on Yelp.

The Empire Burger at Gourmet Burger Bistro in Portsmouth is the best in the state, according to the food publication’s list.

The burger consists of a hand-pressed patty topped with Philadelphia steak, sauteed onions, mushrooms, sweet peppers, and American cheese, and topped with lettuce and tomato.

The site called this meal the “meaty sandwich of your dreams.”
