Thanksgiving Storm Strengthens As It Takes Aim At East Coast: Here's Latest
A significant storm system is strengthening before its arrival on the East Coast on Thanksgiving, potentially disrupting travel plans with rain, sleet, and snow.
The storm is expected to develop overnight on Wednesday, Nov. 27, into Thanksgiving morning on Thursday, Nov. 28.

Virginia is the 16th happiest state in America, according to a newly released ranking by Wallethub.
To determine where Americans are most satisfied with their lives, researchers keyed in on which states "exhibit the best combination of good economic, emotional, physical and social health."
All 50 states were measured across 30 key metrics, according to WalletHub, including things such as the share of adult depression, number of work hours, and ideal weather.

Another round of heat and storms is on deck for the Northeast, starting now, forecasters say.
The beginning of the week will start out hot with a chance of storms in the late-afternoon and evening, however, the highest chance of severe weather comes mid-week, AccuWeather says.

Don't get too comfortable, because the heat and the thunderstorms are both expected to return in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service says.
