A line of thunderstorms moving through the DMV put air travel on hold Wednesday afternoon, triggering ground stops at Reagan National and Dulles airports.
The FAA temporarily halted flights headed to both airports as storms pushed into the region, bringing heavy rain, frequent lightning, and wind gusts of up to 50 mph, according to forecasters.

Nearly a week after she disappeared, 12-year-old Amyra Green remains missing, and Prince George's County police are asking the public not to stop looking.

A US Navy civilian employee was critically injured in a shark attack on Monday, June 8, while swimming near a marina at Naval Support Activity Panama City in Florida, according to multiple reports, including NBC News.
