These Party City Stores To Shut Down In Maryland, Virginia Amid Massive Closure
Dozens of Party City locations in the DMV region are among the hundreds set to be closed as the company announced it is going out of business. Both Maryland and Virginia were hit hard by the reported closure, which will impact approximately 800 stores across the country. Party City was founded in 1986 and is the largest retailer of party goods in North America. Maryland Man Working At Virginia School Charged With Soliciting Sex From Student: Police
A Maryland man working for Arlington Public Schools has been arrested and charged with a sexually-based offense, authorities announced on Friday. Lanham resident Darryl Ramsey, Jr., 31, is facing charges in Virginia and now investigators are seeking possible additional victims. According to the Arlington Police Department, last week, the agency launched an investigation after being tipped off that an Instructional Assistant assigned to Wakefield High School solicited sex from an underage student. Police ID Driver Killed In Officer-Involved Shooting After I-95 Virginia Pursuit
New details have been released by Virginia State Police investigators after one was killed in an officer-involved shooting involving Maryland men following a pursuit down I-95. A carjacking suspect wanted by US Parkway Police was spotted by a Virginia State Police trooper at round 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday night driving south on I-95, which led to a lengthy police pursuit when the driver refused to stop. A second teenager will be charged as an adult following an ongoing investigation after two men were found murdered at a Silver Spring park over the summer, the Montgomery County Department of Police announced.
