A recall has been issued for a popular brand of tomato sauce sold at Wegmans supermarkets. The manufacturer, LiDestri Foods, said 24-ounce jars of Wegmans Italian Classics Diavolo pasta sauce may contain undeclared fish (anchovy). A 20-year-old airman was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while changing a tire on Interstate 295 in Virginia early this week, authorities said. An unruly 7-eleven patron's plan to spit on Stafford County Sheriff's deputies was foiled by, well, herself, police say. Asia Wheeless, 30, of North Carolina, first smashed an employee's phone at the 25 Solomon Dr. convenience store in Fredericksburg on Saturday, April 15, the county sheriff's office said. Victims Killed In Virginia Plane Crash ID'd
The two victims who perished in a plane crash over the weekend in Suffolk County have been identified as a pair of North Carolina men. Christian Rask Fauchald, 54, and Eric John Bergevin, 53, both of Edenton, died when the small passenger plane they were in crash landed on California Road around 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7.
