'His Story Was Only Beginning': Young Maryland Man Dies At 21 After Delaware Crash A young Maryland man's life was only beginning. Dylan Edward Maxwell, 21, formerly of Perryville, died on Friday, Aug. 28, following a crash in Newark, Delaware, according to authorities. Maxwell, who was born in Elkton and most recently lived in Newark, was a 2023 graduate of Perryville High School and Cecil County School of Technology. Newark Police reported the crash at Elkton Road and Thorn Lane, which forced authorities to shut down the roadway.  Additional details about the circumstances of the crash have not been released.
