Brothers Charged With Thefts From Vacant Bergen County Hotel: Police
Two brothers are among three young men charged with breaking into a vacant Bergen County hotel and intending to steal a $12,000 ATV, where approximately $50,000 in tools and construction equipment was also reported missing, police said.
Anthony M. Graziano, 18, of North Haledon, Izan Y. Majagah, 18, of Haledon, and Joseph F. Graziano, 23, of Haledon, were charged Monday, Aug. 10, in the burglary and thefts at the shuttered Garden Plaza Hotel at 129 Pehle Ave., Saddle Brook Police Chief John A. Zotollo Jr. said.

Grandchild Airlifted After Pickup Kills Husband, Wife Crossing Pennsylvania Street
A girl was airlifted to a hospital after a pickup truck struck her and her grandparents, killing the husband and wife as the family crossed a Pennsylvania street, authorities announced.
Eric Lutz, 74, and his wife, Donna Lutz, 71, both of Columbia Borough, were crossing at Chestnut and North Third streets in Columbia with their grandchild when they were struck by a Dodge Ram pickup around 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9, according to Columbia Borough Police and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.
