$10.8M Lottery Ticket Sold In Wilton; Winner Remains Unknown Connecticut Lottery officials are asking players to check their tickets after a nearly $11 million jackpot was bought last week, but no one has come forward to claim it. The winning Lotto! ticket was sold in Wilton. The winner correctly guessed all six numbers in the Friday, Jan. 10, drawing . They are: 4-27-32-37-40-44. Explosion, Fire At Waterbury Home Kills 1; Police To Conduct Controlled Demolition A Connecticut house explosion and fire over the weekend left a 56-year-old man dead, authorities said. The explosion was reported on Horseshoe Drive in Waterbury around 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, police said. Pilot, Student Survive Plane Crash At Essex County Airport A plane crashed at the Essex County Airport this weekend after its landing gear malfunctioned and failed to deploy, authorities said. The crash happened around 2:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, when a Piper Seminole P-44 crash-landed on its belly. Driver Cut From Wreckage Following Horrific Crash On I-95 In Westport Firefighters in Connecticut had to cut a driver from their car following a serious crash early Saturday morning, Jan. 12. The crash happened just after 3 p.m. on I-95 near Exit 18 in Westport. Photos of the crash, show a mangled car that seemed no one would survive, but Westport firefighters were able to cut them from the wreckage to rush them to an area hospital. Authorities did not release the driver's name or their condition. Little is known about the cause of the crash, but Westport police are investigating the cause.
