Washington resident Johnny Gregory, 42, was sentenced on Friday, July 31, to 24 months in prison after a judge found him guilty of strangling his wife during a violent domestic assault earlier this year, the US Attorney's Office announced.

District resident Makai Bridges, 17, was sentenced to 12 years behind bars for a series of violent crimes committed when he was just 16, including an armed robbery, a carjacking, and assaults while locked up, federal prosecutors announced.

A pair of Maryland residents accused of repeatedly targeting Delaware retailers over the course of a month are now behind bars after investigators say a string of alleged shoplifting incidents escalated into an attempted robbery.
